XGL/COMPIZ is a 3D desktop framework. It's fun and beautiful.

Do read the XGL/COMPIZ HowTo on the QA wiki before doing anything.

GNOME 2.12 is required, this does not work with KDE.

After installation :

• Log off your graphical session
• Press Ctrl + Alt + F1
• Log in to your account
• Type su - and your root password
• Then : service dm stop
• And : exit
• Finally, type : startxgl
